Today turned out to be quite a lovely day. Everyday is a gift and it shouldn't be taken for granted, although sometimes we forget. It's incredible, though, how your attitude tends to set the mood for your day. Are you feeding your brain positive or negative thoughts? Today, I decided I would try to do something different, new, and exciting for each day of the rest of my life. Life seems to be in the details afterall. I woke up and got ready to go for a morning jog at Key Biscayne. I used to go there more often but discontinued my routine. I love being outdoors! I think it makes me the happiest. Well after my jog over the bridge, I came home to a very noisy house! But that's always the case here.
I realized that it is difficult for me to concentrate, especially when it comes to school. So in order for me to get things done, I have to find somewhere I can actually be productive. Today, it was the library. I was finally able to get some research done for a very extensive 20 page paper I have to write for my Social Policy class based on a social issue. I decided I would write my paper on poverty. That topic interests me the most. It is now 11:21pm and my head is hurting a bit, but I am going to try to finish the most I can for my paper. Thank God it's due next Thursday.
I am so happy that Thanksgiving is this week! This will be the first time I take over the kitchen and cook for my family, which should be interesting. My little sister is helping me. If I ever find my USB cord, I will post pictures. Well, I'm going to shift my focus to the paper that awaits.
Love & happiness always,
Brenda
